Screenshot Extension Features
By default, this extension uses the html Canvas element to capture screenshots. This is fast, part of Flock, and great for long websites if capturing its entirity. Also, copy a selection to clipboard requires canvas.
However, if the website has embedded objects such as Flash movies, they will not be captured. For this you will need to go to the extension options and change capture method to Java. Java Runtime Environment is required, and this can be obtained for no charge from Sun - go to this page and scroll down.
Java Runtime Environment is also required to capture entire windows which include the chrome, such as the whole flock browser window, the blog editor or the photo uploader window. You do NOT need to change the preferences for this, it is just that JRE is required behind the scenes.
